The ten-member Board of Directors is appointed by the Kern County Board of Supervisors (two per district) to advise and assist the department in the promotion of Kern County as a tourism destination for the purpose of economic development. Directors serve an indefinite term at the pleasure of the Board of Supervisors.
List of Directors
Directors traditionally convene on the second Wednesday of each odd-numbered month, with meetings located throughout the county as determined by the Board. For meeting time, location or agenda information, please contact the Board of Trade.
